The 17th annual Opera Theatre Camp is June 11-30. This three-week camp is becoming known as one of the best intensive arts experiences in the state.
This year participants will present Gilbert and Sullivan's Iolanthe. Our camp invites youths aged 9-18 to take part in this camp that provides vocal instruction, dance and acting basics, audition preparation, Gilbert and Sullivan history, and a lot of friendship, teamwork and fun!
Also, this year for the first time since 2007, Cimarron Opera will present a main stage version of Iolanthe with adult performers the week following the camp performances. During rehearsals, campers will have the opportunity to learn from mentors in the adult cast of Iolanthe and work on the show side by side.
